Have you ever looked
in to the windows of an ambulance
when the siren is not on
but the back is lit up.
There is someone on a stretcher
and someone sitting over them
holding something
testing something
trusting everything.
There is a life being saved
fears being settled
tears being dried.
A life being saved
while you drive to catch dinner.
A miracle happening
in front of your eyes.
You will miss it
if you don't notice.
You will miss life
if you don't save it.
